SUMMARY:Sisterdale Sanctuary Bird Survey
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers are invited to participate in a monthly bird survey at Cibolo’s Sisterdale Sanctuary to help monitor and appreciate the diverse birdlife in this unique habitat. \nThe survey takes place on the second Monday of each month from 8 am to 11:30 am\, with an earlier start time of 7 am during the summer months. The location is 1250 FM 473\, Sisterdale\, TX. Please note that there are no restroom facilities or potable water on-site\, and parts of the survey route include steep and uneven terrain. \nParticipants should bring binoculars\, wear long pants and sturdy shoes\, and bring water\, a hat\, and sun protection. \nFor questions or more information\, contact Sarah Vergara at sarahv@cibolo.org or 830-388-7679.

Starting today and lasting throughout the week\, trash pickup will take up to four cubic yards of materials from your curbside – no need to call the city and schedule. \nAcceptable items include appliances with no CFCs\, furniture\, mattresses\, and other things that won’t fit in your trash cans. Batteries\, concrete\, construction materials\, paint\, and other exceptions do apply. For more info click here. \nBrush pickup is also this week. Make sure you cut\, tie\, and bundle branches in sections no longer than 5 feet. Place the bundles on the curb by 7 am. For more info\, click here.
