DESCRIPTION:Families can dive into an ocean adventure during Shark Weekend at the Science Mill in Johnson City. This “jaw-some” experience invites visitors to discover the fascinating world of sharks through interactive activities\, live demonstrations\, and hands-on workshops. \nKids and adults alike can explore how sharks see\, hunt\, and survive in the deep sea. Guests will have a chance to mimic shark vision in the See Like a Shark activity\, test their hunting skills using a specialized tool in Electric Snack Attack\, and design their own toothy predator in the Chomp Challenge. \nA highlight of the weekend is the hands-on dogfish shark dissection workshop on Saturday\, July 12\, where participants ages 8–17 can investigate shark anatomy with a Science Mill Education Specialist. Spots are limited and an additional fee applies.
