Explore the relationship between color, movement, and emotion during the Abstract Expressionism Workshop with Pauly Tamez at The AgriCultural Museum and Arts Center. Known for his abstract expressionist and impressionistic landscape paintings, Tamez brings a creative approach shaped by his study of the Texas landscape and his work with both watercolor and oil paints.

The workshop will take place on June 6 from 10 am to 1 pm. Participants will learn about the artist’s techniques involving contrasting and complementary colors, fluid organic forms, and expressive compositions designed to evoke emotion and creativity. Tamez’s artistic style has been influenced by renowned Texas landscape painters Bill Zaner and David Caton, whose mentorship helped shape his evolving practice.
