POSTPONED: Boerne Champion FFA Chili Cook-Off at Pure Country

The Boerne Champion FFA Chili Cook-Off brings an evening of food, music, and family-friendly entertainment to Pure Country in Boerne while supporting local FFA students. The event features a chili competition with belt buckles and titles awarded in two categories, including Crowd Pleaser, voted on by attendees, and Panel’s Perfection, judged by a panel of three judges. Guests can sample a variety of chili entries and enjoy a lively atmosphere filled with activities and local flavor.
The cook-off takes place on Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 4 pm to 8 pm at Pure Country, located at 1481 S. Main St., Boerne, TX 78006. General admission is $20 and includes a chili tasting wristband and one voting ticket. A competitor entry fee of $25 is available for those entering chili in the competition, with a completed temporary food permit required. Chili must be prepared in a licensed food-grade kitchen or onsite.
In addition to the chili competition, the event includes live music provided by Pure Country, a silent auction hosted by Boerne Champion FFA students, a petting zoo from Paisleys Pasture, a mechanical bull from Rockin H & S, axe throwing by Sacred Aim, and a market featuring local artisans.
