DESCRIPTION:Art AfterHours – Glass Etching introduces participants to the process often referred to as French embossing\, using modern techniques to create a personalized etched glass piece. Participants can choose to work on a colored glass pendant or a functional item such as a wine glass\, selecting a design and learning how to achieve the soft\, ghostly etched effect that gives glass its distinctive character. \nThis workshop will take place on October 20 from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Hill Country Council for the Arts\, located at 102 City Park Rd.\, Boerne\, TX 78006. Admission is $35 and includes instruction and materials. The class is suitable for all skill levels and offers a creative introduction to decorative glass techniques.
