SUMMARY:Young Creators Collective at April’s Art Haus
DESCRIPTION:Homeschool artists can spend their mornings creating\, experimenting\, and developing their artistic skills during this six-week daytime studio intensive. Young Creators Collective provides a boutique studio experience with intentionally small groups\, professional-quality materials\, and one-on-one attention for each young artist. \nMorning sessions are offered Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 9 am to 12 pm\, September 15 through October 21\, at April’s Art Haus in Boerne\, TX. Each group is limited to a maximum of six students\, allowing participants to explore a variety of artistic mediums and techniques while building confidence and developing their individual styles. \nEach session concludes with an Artist Showcase\, giving students the opportunity to exhibit and sell their artwork to the public. Participants learn how to select and prepare their pieces\, create titles\, set prices\, and experience having others connect with their creations. One hundred percent of artwork sales proceeds go directly to the young artist to reinvest in future art classes and supplies. \nFall enrollment is open\, with small groups and limited availability.

DESCRIPTION:Local homeschool families can explore nature\, gardening\, and hands-on learning during the Fall 2026 Homeschool Program at the Cibolo Nature Center and Herff Farm. The 10-week program runs from September 2 through November 4\, with classes held Wednesdays from 10 to 11:30 am. \nDesigned for homeschoolers ages 5–12\, the program alternates between the Cibolo Nature Center and Herff Farm. This fall\, students will explore vertebrates—including mammals\, amphibians\, reptiles\, fish\, and birds—at the Cibolo Nature Center while participating in a hands-on Gardening Club curriculum at Herff Farm. \nThe program is limited to 30 students. A parent or guardian must attend each class and is responsible for the student’s safety\, participation\, and adherence to Cibolo policies. Younger siblings ages 3–4 may participate for a $50 fee when an older sibling is enrolled; children ages 2 and under are free.
