DESCRIPTION:A guided outdoor experience exploring one of Texas’ most pristine natural areas takes place during the Honey Creek Guided Walk at Guadalupe River State Park in Boerne\, TX. The walk is held from 8:30 am to 11:00 am and lasts approximately 2.5 hours. \nLed by certified guides and sponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek State Natural Area\, this interpretive walk offers insight into the region’s natural and cultural history. Along the way\, participants will learn about local flora\, fauna\, and geology while visiting the clear waters of Honey Creek. \nThe trail is about two miles long and considered moderate in difficulty\, with mostly flat terrain along with some rocky sections\, slopes\, and a few short but steep hills. The group will meet outside the Rust House within Guadalupe River State Park. \nThe program is recommended for ages 7 and up. Dogs are not permitted\, except for service animals. DESCRIPTION:Young scientists are invited to get messy and creative during Jurassic Lava Lab on Tuesday\, July 7\, at 3 pm at Patrick Heath Public Library. \nThis dinosaur-themed hands-on science program combines prehistoric fun with exciting experiments as children create their own exploding slime inspired by bubbling volcanoes from long ago. Participants will explore gooey textures\, colorful reactions\, and eruptive science in an engaging activity designed to spark curiosity and imagination. \nRecommended for children ages 8 and older\, the program offers a fun opportunity to learn through experimentation while enjoying a roaring good time with fellow young explorers. \nParticipation is limited to the first 50 children. Admission tickets are required and may be picked up at the Youth Services Desk before the program begins.

DESCRIPTION:Young dancers of all experience levels can continue their training this summer during the Summer Ballet Programs 2026 at Greater San Antonio Academy of Ballet. The academy’s seasonal programs offer a range of ballet classes and intensives designed for students ages 3 and older. \nPrograms will run from June 15 through July 30 and include classes for multiple age groups and skill levels. Tiny Dancers for ages 3 to 5 meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 9:45 am from June 23 through July 16\, with tuition set at $275. Young Dancers for ages 6 to 8 meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am to 11 am during the same dates for $375. \nFor older students\, Youth Ballet for ages 8 and older meets Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm during sessions held June 22 through July 2 and July 20 through July 30. Tuition is $400 for two weeks or $600 for four weeks. Jr. Ballet Intensive for ages 10 and older meets from 1 pm to 4 pm Monday through Thursday during the same session dates\, with tuition priced at $600 for two weeks or $800 for four weeks. \nAdvanced Ballet Intensive for ages 14 and older takes place Monday through Thursday from 4 pm to 7 pm during both summer sessions.
