DESCRIPTION:Runners can experience the scenic Texas Hill Country during the River Road Run on Saturday\, January 9\, 2027\, at Comfort Park in Comfort\, Texas. The race begins near the park gazebo and takes participants through the historic town and surrounding Hill Country landscape. \nRace 1 of 4 in the Texas Hill Country Series\, the event features several distances\, including the Half Marathon\, 10 Miler SKYDOME\, 10K\, 5K\, and .05K fun run. The new SKYDOME 10 Miler offers a challenging route showcasing the rolling terrain and scenery of the Texas Hill Country. \nStart times are 8:01 am for the 13.1-mile and 10-mile races\, 8:31 am for the 10K and competitive 5K walkers\, 9:01 am for the 5K\, and 9:06 am for the .05K fun run. \nComfort Park is located on TX-27 in Comfort\, TX 78013. The event also offers an opportunity to explore Comfort’s historic downtown\, with nearly 100 buildings dating to before 1910\, along with nearby Cypress Creek and the Guadalupe River. \nRegistration and additional race information are available through the event website.
