Frequent stops throughout the walk allow guests to learn about local flora\, fauna\, geology\, and the region’s historical significance. \nThe program is recommended for ages 7 and older. Dogs are not permitted\, with the exception of service animals. Guests should meet outside the Rust House within Guadalupe River State Park and are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear\, bring water\, and prepare for summer weather conditions with proper sun protection. \nAdmission to the walk is free with park entry. Park admission is $7 for adults\, while children ages 12 and under are admitted free. Registration is required for participation.
