DESCRIPTION:The Native Plant Society of Texas (NPSOT) – Boerne Chapter hosts its monthly meetings at The Cibolo\, bringing together conservation-minded individuals to learn from expert guest speakers on topics related to native plants\, ecology\, and conservation. Each meeting begins with a social hour and potluck at 6 pm\, followed by a presentation at 7 pm. \nIn September\, they are thrilled to welcome Edward “Eddie” Seidensticker as their guest speaker on Native Grasses of the Texas Hill Country. \n\nEddie was raised on his family ranch near Waring\, TX\, and spent 40 years with the Soil Conservation Service\, specializing in conservation and coastal erosion. He currently serves on the boards of both the Kendall Soil & Water Conservation District and the Kendall County Historical Commission.\n\n\nYou are invited to join the group even if you have no prior gardening experience.
