The hikes take place on April 5\, 12\, 19\, and 26\, as well as May 3\, 10\, 17\, and 24 from 8:30 am to 11 am at Guadalupe River State Park. \nLed by certified guides and sponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek State Natural Area\, this interpretive hike highlights the natural and cultural history of the area. The trail is approximately two miles long and moderately challenging\, with mostly flat terrain along with some rocky sections\, slopes\, and a couple of short\, steep hills. \nParticipants of all ages are welcome\, though dogs are not permitted except for service animals.
