Patriotic summer decor takes a handmade turn during the Rag Flag & Bow Garland workshop at The Downtown DIY. This beginner-friendly class gives participants the opportunity to create festive fabric decorations perfect for celebrating the Fourth of July and the summer season.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, June 6 from 10 am to 12 pm. Guests will create one rag flag and one coordinating bow garland using a curated selection of red, white, and blue fabrics. The no-sew workshop focuses on simple techniques for tying, layering, and styling fabric to create textured and personalized decorations with a handcrafted look.

Step-by-step instruction, twine, and all project materials are included. Participants will also receive guidance on mixing patterns, combining colors, and designing unique pieces in a relaxed and creative environment.
