The walk typically lasts about two and a half hours\, with frequent stops to discuss local flora\, fauna\, geology\, and the cultural history of the region. \nThe program is recommended for ages 7 and older. Dogs are not permitted\, except for service animals. Participants will meet outside the Rust House within Guadalupe River State Park and are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear and bring water and sun protection. \nRegistration is required and may be completed at https://fs18.formsite.com/TPWD/tntfhrb0ko/index.
