DESCRIPTION:Sew It Fabulous is offering a five-session Beginner Quilting Workshop designed for those ready to explore the art of quilt-making. Students will learn the fundamentals of fabric selection\, rotary cutting\, thread use\, mastering a 1/4″ seam allowance\, and assembling traditional quilt blocks. Participants will leave with a completed quilt top\, a binder full of workshop resources\, and the confidence to continue quilting on their own. \nThe first session will take place on Saturday\, September 27 from 9:30 am to noon at the Sew It Fabulous store at 111 Parkway Dr.\, Suite 101\, Boerne\, TX. Sessions 2 through 5 will be held at an offsite classroom at 111 Canyon Ridge Dr.\, Boerne\, TX. The remaining class dates are October 4\, 11\, 18\, and 25\, all from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. \nTuition is $150 for all five sessions and includes a binder with materials and patterns. Supplies are not included\, but participants will receive a 20% discount on in-store purchases during the first session. A $15 portion of the fee is non-refundable; the balance is refundable as store credit up to 14 days before the workshop begins. \nParticipants must have a working sewing machine\, a 1/4″ foot\, and the ability to thread and operate their machine.
