Volunteers will count birds across riparian\, savannah\, and human-structure habitats\, with results recorded in eBird\, a database managed by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. \nThe survey takes place on the third Monday of each month\, beginning at 8 am and concluding by 11:30 am. Participants will meet at Herff Farm before heading out on a walking route covering several miles of mostly flat terrain. \nThis initiative is co-sponsored by Bexar Audubon Society and Cibolo Center for Conservation and is approved for Alamo and Hill Country Master Naturalist volunteer hours.
