SUMMARY:Everything’s Bigger in Texas! Come and Fake It! at Waring Fire Hall
DESCRIPTION:Comfort Little Theater marks its 94th production with a lively and humorous stage show\, “Everything’s Bigger in Texas! Come and Fake It!” The performances will take place on April 24 and 25 and May 1 and 2 at the Waring Fire Hall in the Waring Theater District. Doors and ticket sales open at 6 pm\, followed by live music at 6:30 pm\, and the show begins at 7:30 pm. \nAudiences can expect an evening filled with fresh\, never-before-seen skits\, playful local humor\, and a slightly risqué twist rated PG-17. Highlights include scenes set in a local retirement community\, a comedic take on Walmart’s greatest fashion\, and the return of the Redneck Spa characters\, along with plenty of surprises throughout the night. Seating is first come\, first served\, creating a relaxed and casual theater experience. \nTickets are available at the door for $5 for adults and $10 for kids. Food and snacks will be available from the Comfort High School Travel Club\, while beer\, wine\, and soda are offered by donation. Set-ups will also be available for purchase through the Waring Area Community Association\, and guests may bring their own beverages\, though coolers are not permitted. Limited premiere night tables of eight include additional perks such as commemorative t-shirts\, a keepsake poster\, and table service\, with limited availability on other show nights. \nProceeds from the event support local charities\, community groups\, and scholarships\, continuing the theater’s long-standing tradition of giving back to the community.
