SUMMARY:Cibolo Creek Elementary School- Cub Crawl 5k
DESCRIPTION:Calling all runners and walkers! Join the Cibolo Creek Elementary school family for our second annual Cub Crawl 5K and Fun Run. Our Kids Fun Run is a fantastic opportunity for the little ones to join in the excitement of a run designed just for them. This non-competitive\, enjoyable event is all about promoting an active lifestyle while having a great time. The course is specially crafted with the safety and enjoyment of our youngest participants in mind\, as it is an out-and-back route\, making it the perfect introduction to the world of running. Parents are encouraged to run or walk with their children. \nJoin us for an exhilarating 5K run that promises not just a challenge for your body but an experience for your spirit. This event is designed for runners of all levels\, from seasoned athletes to those just starting their fitness journey. The scenic route will take you through picturesque landscapes\, offering a perfect blend of urban and natural surroundings. Whether you’re aiming for a personal best or simply enjoying a morning jog\, the 5K run promises a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie. We prefer that children 1st grade and younger do not run without supervision. \nLace-up your running shoes\, bring the whole family\, and make this event a day to remember! \nThe first 350 registered are guaranteed shirts and medals.

SUMMARY:Jingle All the Way 5/10k Benefitting Transformation House
DESCRIPTION:Time to gear up for the 5th annual Jingle All the Way 5/10k and fun run! The family-friendly run had over 300 runners last year and this  year’s race should be even bigger. All of the proceeds from this event benefit the women and children at Transformation House. \nThis year’s race will begin and end at the beautiful Patrick Heath Amphitheater and follow a portion of the historic Old No. 9 trail. All participants will receive a medal\, and 5k and 10k participants who register by Nov 24th will be guaranteed a shirt. \nTransformation House provides women and children who have experienced trauma and abuse with the time and tools they need to reclaim and rebuild their lives. We provide transitional housing and support services such as therapy and case management. These dual-generation\, wrap-around services enable our families to create new lives free from abuse.
