DESCRIPTION:Boerne Prays invites the community to observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday\, May 1\, 2025. Designated by the United States Congress as a day for Americans to turn to God in prayer and meditation\, this year’s theme is “May the God of hope fill you … so you overflow with hope” (Romans 15:13). \nThe day will feature several gatherings for reflection and prayer: \nThe Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will take place at 7:30 am at the Cana Ballroom at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church\, located at 202 W. Kronkosky Street\, Boerne\, TX 78006. Tickets are required for the breakfast. \nA Gazebo Gathering will be held at noon at Main Plaza\, 100 N. Main Street\, Boerne\, TX 78006\, offering an opportunity for a communal midday prayer. \nThe day concludes with a Cross Event at 7:00 pm at Church at the Cross at The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden in Kerrville. \nFamilies\, friends\, and all members of the community are encouraged to participate in this Spirit-filled day of prayer and hope. \nFor more information\, contact Boerne Prays (contact information not provided).
