VFW Post 688 Monthly River Road Clean-up offers a hands-on way to give back to the community while helping keep Boerne’s River Road Park clean and enjoyable for everyone. This recurring volunteer event takes place every third Saturday of the month at Boerne River Road Park in Boerne, TX.

From May through October, the clean-up runs from 8 am to 9:30 am, and from November through December, it shifts to 9 am to 10:30 am. Volunteers can join VFW Post 688 veterans in maintaining the park, with both individuals and groups welcome to participate.

This community service opportunity is also suitable for students, with volunteer hours available for credit.
