Comfort Pizza

Comfort Pizza

Address: 802 High Street

We finally made it to Comfort Pizza, and we have questions. Like: how is pizza this good tucked away in such a small town? We visited during an off time, but usually you literally have to call ahead and reserve your dough. It’s THAT good.

Every pie is slow-proofed over multiple days using heritage wild sourdough yeast, then handmade in their 30-ton, old-world forno a legna oven. And yes, you can taste the love. Comfort Pizza is part of the Slow Food movement—so don’t expect fast food. Expect great food. And maybe the best pizza in Kendall County?
