It’s been a rollercoaster ride for one of Boerne’s favorite pizza spots. And unfortunately, that ride is finally over for Z’s Woodfired Pizza.
It all started earlier this year when Z’s announced on social media that they’d be closing their doors in September to take a step back and focus on family time.
However, when September came and the doors were still open, we visited to get the scoop. The bartender told us that a deal had been made to sell Z’s and the new owner would be keeping things running as is. And as you can imagine, we (along with the entire town) were ecstatic.
However, earlier today, Z’s announced that the deal had fallen through, and this will be their last week in business.
We are very sad to announce that this will be our last week open at Z’s Wood Fired Pizza. The deal with the new owners did not go through.

The shop will be open regular hours throughout the weekend, with Sunday October 20th being their final day.
We’re sad to see Z’s retire the shop, as it’s been our go-to pizza spot in Boerne ever since it opened. We wish the owners and staff success in their future ventures. You will be missed!
