An educational and creative quilting event takes place during the Pixelated Quilt Workshop on April 9 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Patrick Heath Public Library, 451 N Main St., Boerne, TX 78006.

Led by Vicki Owen, this session introduces the art of pixelated quilts, where images such as photographs or paintings are transformed into square “pixels” to create detailed quilt designs. The presentation will cover how to select a design and explore techniques for assembling these unique quilts.

The evening also includes a trunk show featuring examples from Vicki Owen’s pixelated quilt collection, offering inspiration and insight into the process.

A follow-up hands-on workshop will take place on April 10 for those interested in creating their own pixelated quilt. Space for the workshop is limited.
