Walk alongside the community for hope, healing, and new beginnings during Walk the Mile on Saturday, October 10, 2026, beginning at 8:30 am at the Kendall County Courthouse Lawn in Boerne.

This free community event raises awareness for survivors of domestic violence and offers an opportunity to show support and solidarity for those affected. The morning will feature remarks from Judge Shane Stolarczyk, District Attorney Nicole Bishop, Sheriff Al Auxier, Chief of Police Steve Perez, and a domestic violence survivor.

The event is hosted by the Kendall County DA Victim Services Division, Kendall County Women’s Shelter, Hill Country Family Services, and Transformation House. Attendees are encouraged to bring comfortable walking shoes, and a free raffle will be held during the event.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome to participate.
