Meet authors Marybell Morse and Eric Morse during a Second Saturday Author Signing at Patrick Heath Public Library on Saturday, October 10, from 11 am to 1 pm. The husband-and-wife team will be on hand to discuss and sign their children’s book, Charlie the Charro.

The story follows Charlie, a young boy who knows the moves of charrería, Mexico’s national sport. When an unexpected opportunity at a local charreada gives him the chance to ride, Charlie discovers that courage, rather than age, can help make a true charro. The rhyming story features painterly illustrations and introduces young readers to themes of courage, culture, and pursuing their dreams. The book is recommended for ages 2–6.
