The 75th National Day of Prayer will be observed in Boerne on Thursday, May 7, 2026, marking a historic milestone for this nationwide tradition established in 1952. This year’s theme, “Glorify God among the nations; Seek Him in all generations” (1 Chronicles 16:24), will be reflected throughout a full day of community prayer events.

The day begins with the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast at 8 am at Las Guitarras Restaurant, a ticketed event with reservations available online. At noon, the Gazebo Gathering will take place at Main Plaza, offering a time for the community to come together in prayer. The day concludes with Light Up the Square at 7 pm, also at Main Plaza, creating a meaningful evening gathering.
