The Comfort Golden Age Center will host its 8th Annual CASI-sanctioned Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 628 Front Street (Highway 27) in Comfort, Texas. The event begins at 9:00 am, with the chili contest starting at 2:00 pm.

New this year is an Amateur Homestyle Chili category, offering a fun and flavorful opportunity for local cooks to compete alongside seasoned chili masters. Attendees can enjoy the excitement of the competition while supporting a good cause.

In addition to the cook-off, a community bake sale will kick off at 9:00 am, featuring homemade goods available for purchase.
