Adult Night Hike at Cibolo Center for Conservation

As the sun sets over the Hill Country, the trails at the Cibolo Center for Conservation take on a whole new character during these guided Adult Night Hikes. Designed to highlight nocturnal wildlife and evening ecology, these hikes invite participants to experience the preserve after dark through longer routes, lesser-known trails, and periods spent without flashlights to allow natural night vision to adjust. The experience is immersive, engaging, and well suited for adults and mature teenagers interested in exploring nature from a different perspective.
Adult Night Hikes are offered on select dates throughout the year, with start and end times adjusted to match seasonal sunset changes. Upcoming hikes are scheduled for February 20, 2026 from 6:15 pm to 7:45 pm; March 20, 2026 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm; April 17, 2026 from 7:45 pm to 9:15 pm; May 15, 2026 from 8:15 pm to 9:45 pm; August 21, 2026 from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm; September 18, 2026 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm; and October 16, 2026 from 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm.
Admission is $15 per person. These hikes are intended for adults of all ages, with “adult” defined as mature teenagers and older. Participants should be prepared for uneven terrain and low-light conditions. Advance registration is recommended, as space may be limited for each hike.
