Community members can come together in support of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community during the Aid the Silent 5K Run/Walk at Main Plaza. The event raises awareness and funding for programs and services that support individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing while offering participants an opportunity to enjoy the scenic surroundings of downtown Boerne.

The race will take place on June 6 from 7 am to 12 pm and begins at Main Plaza in historic downtown Boerne. Participants can experience views along the Boerne River Walk before spending time exploring local boutiques, restaurants, and nature trails throughout the city.

The event is designed to be fully accessible for deaf and hard-of-hearing participants, with live captioning and interpreters available throughout the race experience.
