Boerne Parks & Recreation will host an Arbor Day Tree Planting event on Tuesday, November 4, at 10:00 am along the Old No. 9 Trail – Extension. This community celebration offers residents the chance to take part in planting new trees in honor of Arbor Day.

While many observe Arbor Day in spring, fall is actually the ideal season for tree planting in this region. Cooler temperatures and seasonal rainfall help young trees establish strong roots, giving them a better chance to grow and thrive in the Texas Hill Country climate.

This year’s tree planting is made possible with the support of The Rotary Club of Boerne and Burkett Arbor Care, both helping promote a greener and more sustainable future for Boerne.

Community members of all ages are invited to participate and help shape the landscape for generations to come.
