Create a meaningful piece of personalized décor during the Birth Blooms Keepsake workshop on Sunday, September 20, from 2 to 4 pm at The Downtown DIY.

In this pressed flower workshop, participants will create a custom keepsake featuring real dried birth flowers arranged on an oval wooden plaque. Guests can choose up to six birth flowers to represent children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, spouses, or other loved ones.

The workshop begins with painting the wooden plaque in a color of your choice, followed by arranging the pressed flowers into a unique botanical design. Each finished piece can be styled as a simple, modern composition or a fuller floral arrangement.

No experience is required, and all supplies and step-by-step guidance are provided. After registering, participants should email the birth months they plan to use, up to six, to thedowntowndiy@gmail.com so the appropriate flowers can be prepared in advance.
