The Boerne Writers Club is a group of enthusiastic writers dedicated to providing constructive and encouraging feedback for fellow writers, regardless of their experience level—be it beginners, seasoned authors, or those who have been published. The group critiques a wide range of genres, including book-length fiction and non-fiction manuscripts, novellas, short stories, articles, poems, screenplays, letters, speeches, and more. Their goal is to foster a “safe space” where writers can hone their craft. This involves reading their work to the group (or opting to have someone else present it) and then openly receiving the group’s feedback.

Their primary mission is to assist The Writer, supporting writers at every stage of their journey with a focus on being constructive and encouraging, grounded in humility rather than ego. Meetings are held on the third Saturday of each month.
