Mrs. Malkie Marrus is a veteran Judaic Studies educator at the Starr Family Jewish Day School. She holds a Teacher’s Certification and Degree from the Beth Rivka Teacher’s Seminary in Brooklyn, NY. She and her husband Rabbi Yashi of Chabad of Boerne have presented cultural appreciation programs for us in the past.

This program will include the story behind Challah bread and demonstration of how to braid the bread. Each child will then get a loaf of the uncooked bread served on an aluminum tray. They will braid it themselves (or with parent if a toddler) with instruction on how to bake in their ovens at home. Space is limited to 50 people.
