Create a handmade holiday keepsake during the Christmas in July: Felt Appliqué workshop on Sunday, July 26, from 2 pm to 4 pm at The Downtown DIY, located at 206 W. Highland Dr., Boerne, TX 78006.

This relaxing workshop introduces participants to the art of felt appliqué as they create a beautifully hand-stitched Christmas ornament using colorful felt, embroidery stitches, sequins, beads, and other decorative details. The session begins with instruction on basic appliqué techniques and stitching methods, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced crafters.

Each participant will receive all the materials needed to continue and complete their ornament at home. Finished ornaments make timeless additions to Christmas trees, stockings, wrapped gifts, or treasured holiday keepsakes. Drop-in admission is $19.95 and includes the opportunity to create one ornament. Founding Members receive complimentary access to all three workshop sessions.
