Guadalupe River State Park will transform into a festive winter setting during Christmas in the Park, a two-night celebration filled with activities and holiday lights for the whole family. The event will take place on Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Guadalupe River State Park, located at 3350 Park Road 31, Spring Branch, TX 78070.

Families can enjoy holiday-themed crafts, stories, and seasonal activities at the Discovery Center and amphitheater from 4 pm to 6 pm. Beginning at 6 pm, visitors can take a drive through the Turkey Sink campground to see a glowing light show featuring decorated campsites. Guests will have the chance to vote for their favorite display, with prizes awarded to the top entries.

While the event is free with park admission, visitors are encouraged to bring monetary donations or items from the Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation wish list to support their ongoing efforts. Campers who choose to decorate their sites for the light show will have entry and camping fees waived for the weekend. Registration for participating campers opens on October 1.
