Couples can enjoy an evening of creativity and hands-on crafting during Date Night: Custom Leather Coasters at The Downtown DIY. This beginner-friendly workshop offers participants the chance to create a personalized set of handcrafted coasters designed to be both functional and decorative.

The workshop will take place on Saturday, May 30 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Each guest will create two wooden coasters, resulting in a finished set of four coasters per couple to take home. Participants will stain wooden coaster bases and learn techniques for cutting, stamping, and customizing genuine leather inserts with initials, words, phrases, or short sayings using leather stamping tools. Once completed, the leather pieces will be sealed and inlaid into the wood bases for a polished final design.

The relaxed workshop atmosphere is designed for all skill levels, making it an approachable and creative date night activity for couples looking to try something new together.
