The Patrick Heath Public Library will host its second annual Día de los Muertos celebration on Saturday, November 1, 2025, beginning at 3:00 pm. This vibrant cultural event invites the community to honor loved ones with music, food, art, and storytelling.

Highlights of the celebration include live mariachi performances, free sugar skull face painting, traditional tamales, Mexican candy, and craft activities. A special storytime with a local author adds to the festivities, making it a family-friendly afternoon of remembrance and celebration.

Visitors are also encouraged to contribute to the community ofrenda currently on display in the library lobby. Guests can bring a photo of a loved one or email an image to shabeeb@boernelibrary.org to take part.
