A relaxed and creative mixed-media experience takes place during “Dis-Carded” with Julie Jarvis on Tuesday, April 14 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at The Downtown DIY, 206 W Highland Dr., Ste 101, Boerne, TX 78006.

Led by local artist Julie Jarvis, this monthly workshop explores a variety of techniques designed to help participants discover their personal artistic style. Open to all skill levels, the class offers a welcoming environment for both beginners and experienced creatives.

Participants will transform everyday materials such as old letters, stamps, vintage papers, and even junk mail into meaningful works of art, including handmade cards, journals, and unique mixed-media pieces. The studio provides a wide selection of supplies, tools, and materials, allowing each creation to be completely one of a kind.
