“Dis-Carded” with Julie Jarvis offers a relaxed and imaginative workshop focused on mixed-media creativity. The class will take place on Tuesday, May 12 from 5:30 pm to 7 pm at The Downtown DIY.

Led by local artist Julie Jarvis, this monthly workshop explores a variety of creative techniques using materials such as vintage papers, stamps, letters, and repurposed items. Participants are encouraged to transform everyday objects into unique pieces like handmade cards, junk journals, or personalized artwork, all while developing their own artistic style.

Designed for both beginners and experienced creatives, the class provides a supportive environment with access to a wide range of supplies and tools. Guests are also welcome to bring personal memorabilia or photos to incorporate into their projects.

Admission is $19.95 per person, and the workshop is held on the second Tuesday of each month.
