“Dis-Carded” with Julie Jarvis at The Downtown DIY

Creative reuse and mixed-media art take center stage during “Dis-Carded” with Julie Jarvis at The Downtown DIY. Offered on the second Tuesday of each month, this relaxed workshop encourages participants to explore personal artistic expression through a variety of mixed-media techniques and creative exercises.
The June session will take place on Tuesday, June 9 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Guests can transform old stamps, vintage papers, letters, artwork, junk mail, photographs, and other memorabilia into handmade cards, junk journals, and one-of-a-kind art pieces. The studio provides a wide assortment of ephemera, stickers, papers, tools, and mixed-media supplies, allowing participants to experiment with different materials and styles throughout the class.
Julie Jarvis’s approachable teaching style makes the workshop welcoming for beginners while also offering inspiration and creative exploration for experienced artists. Because each participant brings their own materials, ideas, and artistic approach, every project is uniquely personal.
Admission is $24.95 per participant, while members attend free. For more information or registration details, visit The Downtown DIY Workshops.
