“Dis-Carded” with Julie Jarvis at The Downtown DIY

Mixed-media creativity and artistic exploration take center stage during “Dis-Carded” with Julie Jarvis at The Downtown DIY. Offered on the second Tuesday of each month, this relaxed workshop encourages participants to experiment with a variety of artistic materials and techniques while developing their own creative style.
The October session will take place on Tuesday, October 13 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. Guests can transform vintage papers, letters, stamps, junk mail, photographs, and other memorabilia into handmade cards, junk journals, and meaningful one-of-a-kind art pieces. The studio provides an assortment of ephemera, mixed-media supplies, stickers, papers, and tools to inspire creative expression throughout the evening.
Julie Jarvis’s approachable teaching style makes the workshop welcoming for beginners while still offering inspiration and flexibility for experienced artists. Because participants bring their own memorabilia and artistic ideas into the process, every creation is uniquely personal.
Admission is $24.95 per participant, while members attend free. For more information or registration details, visit The Downtown DIY Workshops.
