Discover the creative possibilities of mixed-media art during “Dis-Carded” with Julie Jarvis on Tuesday, November 10, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at The Downtown DIY, located at 206 W. Highland Dr., Boerne, TX 78006.

Held on the second Tuesday of each month, this relaxed workshop is led by local mixed-media artist Julie Jarvis and explores a variety of artistic techniques designed to help participants develop their own creative style. Each session encourages self-expression through hands-on projects that incorporate vintage papers, old stamps, letters, artwork, junk mail, photographs, and other meaningful materials.

The studio provides a wide selection of ephemera, mixed-media supplies, stickers, papers, and tools, allowing every participant to create unique pieces such as handmade cards, junk journals, or one-of-a-kind works of art. Suitable for beginners and experienced artists alike, the workshop offers a welcoming environment to experiment, create, and be inspired.
