Guadalupe River State Park invites families and beginner anglers to a relaxed morning of Fishing with a Ranger. This hands-on session is perfect for those new to fishing and looking to learn the basics.

Held at the kayak launch area in the day-use section of the park, the event features a free Tackle Loaner Program offering fishing poles on a first-come, first-served basis. Bait will be provided while supplies last. Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing gear and bait as well.

No fishing license is required to participate. Attendees are encouraged to bring drinking water, sun protection, and the whole family for this outdoor educational experience.
