A creative, nature-inspired workshop takes place during the Flower Pounding Tea Towel Workshop on Friday, April 10 from 6 pm to 8 pm at The Downtown DIY, 206 W Highland Dr., Ste 101, Boerne, TX 78006.

This hands-on class introduces the art of flower pounding, also known as hapazome, where guests use fresh flowers and greenery to transfer natural pigments onto fabric. Participants will design two cotton tea towels, experimenting with color, placement, and pattern to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces.

All materials are provided, including premium tea towels, seasonal florals, tools, and guided instruction. The workshop is designed for all skill levels, offering a relaxed and creative environment for both beginners and experienced crafters.
