The Hill Country Council for the Arts presents the debut of HCCA Cinema, a new program celebrating independent film in the Hill Country. The first local film screening takes place Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 5:30 to 11 pm at 102 City Park Road in Boerne.

The evening will feature independent films created by local artists, with a $5 entry fee for attendees and $5 film submission opportunities. Films shown after intermission will be for mature audiences only. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets—snacks and water will be available for purchase.
