Honey Creek Guided Walk at Guadalupe River State Park

A guided outdoor experience exploring one of Texas’ most pristine natural areas takes place during the Honey Creek Guided Walk at Guadalupe River State Park in Boerne, TX. The walk is held from 8:30 am to 11:00 am and lasts approximately 2.5 hours.
Led by certified guides and sponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek State Natural Area, this interpretive walk offers insight into the region’s natural and cultural history. Along the way, participants will learn about local flora, fauna, and geology while visiting the clear waters of Honey Creek.
The trail is about two miles long and considered moderate in difficulty, with mostly flat terrain along with some rocky sections, slopes, and a few short but steep hills. The group will meet outside the Rust House within Guadalupe River State Park.
The program is recommended for ages 7 and up. Dogs are not permitted, except for service animals. Participants are encouraged to wear sturdy footwear and bring water and sun protection.
