Honey Creek Nature Hike at Guadalupe River State Park

May 17 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am
Honey Creek Nature Hike at Guadalupe River State Park

Honey Creek Nature Hike offers a guided outdoor experience exploring one of the last pristine waterways in Texas. The hikes take place on April 5, 12, 19, and 26, as well as May 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 8:30 am to 11 am at Guadalupe River State Park.

Led by certified guides and sponsored by The Friends of Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek State Natural Area, this interpretive hike highlights the natural and cultural history of the area. The trail is approximately two miles long and moderately challenging, with mostly flat terrain along with some rocky sections, slopes, and a couple of short, steep hills.

Participants of all ages are welcome, though dogs are not permitted except for service animals. The group will meet outside the Rust House within the park, and attendees are encouraged to bring sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection.

Registration is required. For more information or to sign up, visit https://fs18.formsite.com/TPWD/3wdmx2s3eu/index.
