March 8 @ 8:30 am - 11:00 am
Honey Creek Nature Hike at Guadalupe River State Park

Explore one of the Hill Country’s most pristine natural areas during the Honey Creek Nature Hike on March 8, March 15, and March 22, 2026, from 8:30 am to 11 am at Guadalupe River State Park, 3350 Park Road 31, Spring Branch, TX 78070. Sponsored by the Friends of Guadalupe River State Park and Honey Creek State Natural Area, this guided hike offers an opportunity to learn about the natural and cultural history of Honey Creek.

Certified guides will lead participants along a two-mile interpretive trail featuring mostly flat terrain with some rocky sections, slopes, and two short but steep hills. Along the way, hikers will learn about the local flora, fauna, and geological features that make Honey Creek one of the last pristine waterways in Texas.

The hike is open to all ages, though dogs are not permitted except for service animals. Participants will meet outside the Rust House within Guadalupe River State Park and are encouraged to bring sturdy footwear, water, and sun protection.

Registration is required and can be completed at https://fs18.formsite.com/TPWD/3wdmx2s3eu/index. For more information, contact Guadalupe River State Park directly.
