Black baseball history in the Texas Hill Country takes center stage during the Kerrville All-Stars Presentation on February 21 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Patrick Heath Public Library, 451 North Main Street, Boerne, Texas 78006.

Local historians Dick Butler and Clifton Fifer Jr. will share the story of the Kerrville All-Stars, a Black baseball team from the area that was managed by Clifton Fifer Sr. The program will explore the broader history of Black baseball in the Hill Country while offering a personal, firsthand account from the son of one of the team’s players. Attendees can expect a meaningful look back at an important chapter of regional sports and community history.

Coffee and pastries will be available to enjoy before the presentation begins, creating a relaxed setting for conversation and reflection.
