Boerne Prays invites the community to observe the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 1, 2025. Designated by the United States Congress as a day for Americans to turn to God in prayer and meditation, this year’s theme is “May the God of hope fill you … so you overflow with hope” (Romans 15:13).

The day will feature several gatherings for reflection and prayer:

The Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast will take place at 7:30 am at the Cana Ballroom at Saint Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 202 W. Kronkosky Street, Boerne, TX 78006. Tickets are required for the breakfast.

A Gazebo Gathering will be held at noon at Main Plaza, 100 N. Main Street, Boerne, TX 78006, offering an opportunity for a communal midday prayer.

The day concludes with a Cross Event at 7:00 pm at Church at the Cross at The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden in Kerrville.

Families, friends, and all members of the community are encouraged to participate in this Spirit-filled day of prayer and hope.
