Anglers of all ages can celebrate National Hunting and Fishing Day with a day of fishing at Guadalupe River State Park. No fishing license is required when fishing within a Texas State Park, making this a convenient opportunity to cast a line and enjoy time along the river.

Fishing rods, reels, and small tackle boxes are available to borrow from the Discovery Center during open hours. Bait is not guaranteed, so visitors are encouraged to bring their own.
